Most styles have 40 felt balls pre-strung on a white string. The string itself is over 12'0" long. You can cut down the string to your desired length or tie multiple strings together. Felt balls are approximately 1" in diameter and do not typically shift once you move and space the garland on the string.

You can adjust the felt balls on the string to your desired spacing or you can bunch them together...it's up to you and how you want to display the garland. You can create new and unique looks if you mix 'n match multiple strings of garland.
